Treasurer Report:
Last year's Treasurer, John McNamara, presented a financial report and an initial proposal for 2009. Chuck Zinkosky and John will meet prior to the next
meeting to handle the bank account details.
Communications:
Sue Laabs will meet with the outgoing Communications chairperson, Marilyn McNamara, prior to the next meeting to transfer the email files and all other
information.
Presidents Report:
John reminded the Board members that their primary role is to support the football program. He also announced that the Gjonajs were leaving the Board and
thanked them for all of their hard work and service to the NFPA. There is a vacancy on the Board for a Junior parent representative.
Fundraising:
Suzanne McGowan presented some alternative versions of coupon card fundraiser. This will continue to be researched and revisited at a later time. A new
chairperson will be needed for Banners.
Food Committee:
Gina is getting estimates for the team dinners. The quantity of game day bananas will be decreased.
Media Committee:
Carol reported that Mike Hudson will continue to update the website. Feedback was given on the latest changes.
Senior Committee:
Carol Zinser is researching options for the Senior Retreat. The banquet will be held at St. Mary's Cultural Center in Livonia.
Coach's Report:
Football is due for new uniforms in the 2009 season. A possible team fundraising opportunity is a Lift-a-thon.
